What you can save in Passée

Passée lets you save details about the things you track: item names, categories, locations, photos, expiry dates, renewal dates, issue dates, reminder timing, payment due dates, billing cycle dates, notes, prices, sizes, quantities, pack counts, and optional document details such as issuing agency, reference number, document number, or the last four digits of a card.

This information is stored locally by the app. TA Studio does not receive it.

Where your data lives

On your device, Passée stores your shelf using Apple's local app storage. If you enable iCloud sync, your shelf syncs through the private database of your own iCloud account. TA Studio does not operate a shelf database and cannot read your private iCloud data.

Passée may also create a local safety backup that you can share or restore yourself. That backup stays on your device unless you choose to export or send it.

Photos

Photos you take in Passée or choose from your library are stored with your item. They are not uploaded to TA Studio.

Passée uses Apple's on-device Vision framework for simple photo cleanup, background masking, and OCR date reading. This on-device reading does not send your photo to us.

If you choose to use Smart Photo autofill, Passée may send a limited image or extracted text to an AI processor to suggest form details. Smart Photo is optional and is used only when you choose that feature. We do not send your full shelf, your name, your location, or your other items.

Notifications

Passée schedules reminders for items, renewals, and dates you choose. Reminder scheduling happens through Apple's notification system. We do not use a server to watch your shelf.

Privacy-safe product analytics

Passée may use TelemetryDeck to understand broad product health, such as whether an item was added, a category was used, a free-tier limit was reached, or an upgrade button was tapped. These events are designed to avoid personal shelf content.

We do not send item names, brand names, notes, shelf names, photos, prices, recipient names, phone numbers, email addresses, document numbers, full card numbers, or location names in analytics.

Health, wellness, and document reminders

Passée can track self-care, medicine, supplements, medical supplies, insurance, IDs, documents, credit cards, bills, loans, and other renewals. This is for organization and reminder timing only. Passée does not provide medical, financial, legal, diagnosis, treatment, or safety advice.

For credit cards, Passée is designed for expiry reminders and optional last-four identification only. Do not store full card numbers in the app.

Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight

Passée supports Apple App Intents so you can use Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight for actions like adding an item, checking expiring items, finding an item, replacing an item, or checking the buy-again list. Apple handles voice recognition and routing. Passée receives only the action needed to show or update your shelf.

Subscriptions

Passée Plus is billed through the Apple App Store. Apple handles payment information. Passée does not see your card number, billing address, or Apple ID payment details. The app only receives the subscription status needed to unlock Plus features.

Import and export

Passée can import CSV files and export CSV files when you ask it to. Export can be filtered by the items you choose, such as current or archived items, category, person, or location. Exported files are created for you to save or share. TA Studio does not receive exported files.

If you use Passée for HSA/FSA records, exports may include the eligibility flag and item details you entered. Passée does not decide reimbursement eligibility and does not replace itemized receipts, EOBs, prescriptions, letters of medical necessity, or other documents your plan may require.

Email

If you write to us at [email protected], your message arrives in a regular inbox. We use it to reply to you. We don't add you to a marketing list.

What we don't do

• No ads or ad tracking.
• No advertising SDKs or fingerprinting.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your shelf information.
• No tracking pixels on this website.
• No account required to use the app.

Your choices

You can edit or delete items in the app at any time. You can clear all items from Settings. You can turn iCloud sync on or off in Apple settings for iCloud. You can also delete Passée from your device, which removes the local app data from that device.
